Hello all!
In view of the upcoming big days - 3 oct (mid-auntumn festival), 7 oct (KK enlistment), 8 oct (Andrew + JX enlistment), x oct (YC enlistment) and 14 oct (KK birthday) , we have decided to meet on oct 5 at KK's house neighbourhood to play with lanterns. And candles.
What time, I dunnoe. Wait for min/anyone to organise in details. As for ppl like me, we'll go after we end work :)

Genting 2009
Been a LOOONG time since I've touched this place properly. Wasn't in mood to sleep, so here I am!
As most of you know, there's gonna be a trip up to Genting HIGHLANDS from 15-17 Sep, with us leaving on the super executive coach at 11pm on the 14th.
Bookings were made.
For those who unfortunately are going to miss this time's trip (again, eg si hui + sheryl), feel free to suggest short trips in the future! We don't mind a short shopping trip to macau and HK HAHAHA. Would be good without the boys as well. =x
For the warriors who will be defying gravity, braving the altitude up the mountain in the form of circling it, make sure you don't just stuff your luggage with clothes that will shield you from the natural aircon. Keep in mind that we're going to make a trip to HJ's @ Kota Tinggi as well!!!
Make sure you bring some sexy singlets/nice cotton tees!

Historic moments...
As we rejoice in the third month of our BOA gatherings; with the highest record of 12ppl present at Ah Chew dessert house,
we need to remember how our "forefathers" sail ashore.
It was actually a meeting between two restless boys who want to watch movie after deciciding not to play their favourite game "left four dead".
They went shop visiting in town and had a free temperature check before they met up with this chatty girl who wanted to meet her classmate after work.
After work, the all-time blur cum chatty girl found that her phone was low batt and had to use a public phone! to call the boys up as her classmate didn't answer her call.
Later in the evening, she met the boys at Cineleisure and they decided to continue their shop visiting quest at Suntec city. They walked to dhoby ghaut before they found a direct bus...
On their way, they manage to pick up a friend who just finished work and ate fried carrot cake brought here as a goodwill of her manager.
the boys and the chatty girl decided that they shld go for supper and the other girl happily tagged along after knowing that one of the boys were going to treat dessert that night.
Classmate finally called up one of the boys at the dessert shop and was keen to come to show her new haircut albeit much dismay from her doting mum.
She came anyways and Ta-da! BOA was officially formed and lauched 2 weeks later on another supper gathering:)

this post is useful only to the guys especially. well, being a pseudo-gay, it's only right that i will feel a bit (yea, about 0.001%) of nostalgia when you guys sell your ass and defend us all from the terrors of the world and other threats. so in order to commemorate your future sacrifices, the pictures below are a tribute to the people out there, especially the guys, who will spend their time serving the nation.

As for now, we meet on tuesdays night after work.
we usually meet at bugis for ah chew or rmb to eat dessert place.
currently, members in the board are ling, ying theng, jian xiong, jonathan and me.
Feel free to join; free membership except a one time dessert treat to the people in the board.

Lunch.
Hi all. Regarding the lunch!
It'll definitely be on, but I can't be sure who's going to turn up besides me, because no one seems to want to confirm until more names appear on the list.
So, for you guys who are still in school, why not ask each other and get a unison answer? =]
I'll be asking a few 01s as well, so you guys feel free to ask any dopts. I just want a photo on vivo with grad robe - it doesn't matter how many ppl turns up.
Fill up the namelist at the bottom!
And, I'm not making this a class outing! And class outing is different from a regular lunch; very very difficult to arrange, and I don't like to take the initiative to plan everything, esp not when the closest person I can consult are ruth and deir. So don't expect me to contact every single person ah! You guys just pass around!

I know this is kind of redundant ah, but will you guys want to meet for up some lunch together before grad?
Was thinking tt cus most of us would be free - and the only obstacle is parents - it might be a good opportunity to meet up as a class gathering or sth. No need to go through the hassle of asking everyone to make themselves free if we want to lunch, unlike on normal days.
Or just simply a lunch session - share our crap, experiences, army fears... etc.
And you know, we had a picture with labcoats at vivo. Let's complete it with grad robe at vivo?

Anyway, according to Gold Standard - Sheryl, Mr Konda Venkata Nagaraju is leaving Singapore for his PhD in Sydney. Therefore, we suggested a farewell party to be held for our cute lecturer on Monday. Details will be confirmed. But please allow 27/4/09 (monday) to be free.
On a side note, there's an ARMD Continuing Education Lecture for optometrists and opticians on 28/4/09 (tuesday). Interested party, please contact the coordinator, huimin.
